Unfortunately, tigers are becoming rarer in the wild as they are hunted for medicinal purposes or just come into conflict with the increasing demands for space from people.  Will we soon reach the stage when such magnificent creatures can only be seen in zoos or wildlife reserves because there is no more natural habitat for them?

There are a number of organizations, for example the WWF, through which tigers and other creatures can be sponsored, adopted, or their habitat protected.
