Belgium


	A couple of years ago we spent a long weekend in Belgium, staying in a hotel in Antwerp - not a place you normally associate with weekend trips - and visiting local places like Bruges. Some of Antwerp is like any other city with modern office developments, but some of the buildings on the riverfront and around the old square are typically old Flemish.

We were surprised by the size of the drinks and loved the mussels.


	Bruges is a nice old town, but full of tourists. There are a lot of old buildings and a few canals that you can travel around on boats


	This is in the centre of Bruges at on of the main boarding points for the boat cruises. The building on the right of the photo, next to the boat is a hotel. We may go back there one day.


	To the left of the above scene there is this. On the right, in the trees there is a craft market.
